Right of Way is a licensed Chilliwack driving school where every student is taught to the same lesson plan and the same safety-first standard: clear instruction, honest feedback, modern equipment, and road safety treated the way emergency responders treat it.
Lessons focus on the roads the ICBC test actually uses around the Chilliwack office: the turns, speed zones, lane changes and parking situations that decide exam day. Do you pick me up for driving lessons?
Yes. Free pickup and drop-off is included with every lesson in central Chilliwack: Downtown Chilliwack, Sardis, Promontory, Vedder Crossing, Garrison Crossing and Fairfield Island. Can I rent your car for the ICBC road test?
Yes. Our Road Test Car Rental + Warm-Up includes use of the test car and a warm-up lesson before your exam. If you only need the car for a test at the Chilliwack ICBC office, Car Only is $150 plus 5% GST. The Road Test Car Rental page lists all five options with prices, including Abbotsford & Agassiz.
Do you offer ICBC road test preparation in Chilliwack?
Yes. Road test preparation in Chilliwack is our specialty. Book the Road Test Car Rental + Warm-Up (a warm-up lesson plus our car for the test) or a strict Class 7 / Class 5 mock road test, all run on the same road patterns used around the Chilliwack ICBC office.
What is the difference between Class 7 and Class 5 exam prep?
Class 7 preparation focuses on in-city driving: intersections, parking, school zones. Class 5 preparation adds highway driving, advanced merging, and more complex traffic scenarios. We run separate mock road tests for each so you can train for the exact stage you are at.
Can I book or get help after hours?
Online booking is available 24/7. For help, call, text or email us. We reply when available; lessons run by appointment during regular hours.
How many lessons do I need before the road test?
It depends on your experience. Some students are test-ready after 5 sessions. Others benefit from 10 to 15 lessons. We will give you honest feedback, not upsell you on sessions you do not need.
What makes your training car different from other driving schools?
Our Toyota Corolla Hybrid has dual steering wheels, instructor-side gas and brake, a head-up display, and surround cameras. Most schools only have a brake pedal on the instructor side. Ours gives the instructor full control for smoother, safer corrections.
Do you work with nervous drivers?
Yes. Many students come to us feeling anxious, rusty, or overwhelmed before their test. We keep the coaching calm and go one step at a time, and in the dual-control car the instructor can correct a mistake while it is still small.
How do I pay?
We accept Interac e-Transfer, and depending on the booking path you can also pay by credit card through our card processor. Payment details are sent after you book. For packages, you pay the full amount upfront and can schedule lessons at your own pace. Learn more about e-Transfer payments.
