Three steps to test day
Book your road test with ICBC
Book the test with ICBC yourself and note the check-in time on your appointment. Our booking covers the car; it does not reserve an ICBC road test.
Book the matching option here
For a warm-up option, book the start one hour before your ICBC check-in time. For example: check-in 9:25, start 8:25. For car only, book the day and time of your ICBC appointment. With a drive between Chilliwack and Abbotsford, leave time for the drive too, or call 604-701-9036 and we will pick the start time with you.
Drive, then take the test
With a warm-up, we pick you up, drive for an hour, and you take the test in the same car. With car only, meet the car in the parking lot of the Chilliwack ICBC road test office 15 minutes before your appointment. We take the car back in the same lot.
Car only or car + warm-up?
Most people add the warm-up
Car only is $150 plus 5% GST. For $30 more, you get an hour of driving with your instructor, Sergey, right before the test, and we pick you up at home and drive you back. You start the test already warmed up, in the car you just drove.

- $150 + 5% GST. Use of our car for your road test at the Chilliwack ICBC office. You meet the car in the office’s parking lot 15 minutes before your appointment. No pickup, drop-off or warm-up.
- Pickup in Chilliwack, test in Abbotsford
- $270 + 5% GST. Pickup in Chilliwack, the drive to Abbotsford, a 60-minute warm-up on Abbotsford streets, use of our car for the road test, and the drive back to Chilliwack. Booked time: 3 hours.
- Pickup in Abbotsford, test in Chilliwack
- $350 + 5% GST. Pickup in Abbotsford, the drive to Chilliwack, a 60-minute warm-up on Chilliwack streets, use of our car for the road test, and the drive back to Abbotsford. Booked time: 3.5 hours.
- Warm-up driving time
- About 45 minutes of the warm-up with the car moving; the last 15 minutes cover getting to the test location and settling in.
- The ICBC road test
- The ICBC road test itself is conducted by an ICBC examiner, not by Right of Way. You book it with ICBC. Your fee covers the car and, on the warm-up options, the warm-up lesson; it does not cover the ICBC test fee.
- Who else is in the vehicle
- During the warm-up, you and your instructor. One additional person may ride along to observe, for $50 plus 5% GST. During the road test, only you and the ICBC examiner.
- Cancellations and refunds
- At least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule the warm-up. Full terms and refund policy.
- Driver training school
- Right of Way Driving School, 45598 McIntosh Drive, Chilliwack, BC V2P 7J3. Licensed as a driver training school under the Motor Vehicle Act, DTC# 2918.

Can I rent just the car for a road test in Abbotsford?
